ReplyDeleteSomewhere around this time, my dad reported in our house that he had "heard" that Bob Griese had "spent the whole summer letting his hair grow long and running around on the beaches" in Florida. This is, of course, not an exact quote, but it's pretty close. Anyway, my guess is that it was after Griese's rough start in this Monday-night season opener that Dad broke this story.
