If you like Bob Dylan and you haven't kept up with his recent work you are missing out. My wife finds it a bit depressing to listen to him now, because of his voice, but if you can get past that you'll find that he's still doing interesting work. He can still write lyrics and he's having fun playing around with all the root rock influences that have been around since he first hit the scene 50 years ago.
Tempest is a solid album and has some very good moments. It's a good album for a solo road trip.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
My brother felt like this record ranked right with Blood on the Tracks.
