I have similar problems with country music that I do with hip-hop. Where hip-hop has too much focus on violence and sex, country music male singers tend to focus too much on beer and having a good time. So when I come across a standard pop hip-hop or country artist who is simply producing solid pop tunes and staying away from said topics I'm happy.
If that sounds familiar it's because that's the opening paragraph to my last review. This time it's a pop hip-hop group that has made a straightforward pop album and avoided all the usual pitfalls. This album can supply plenty of songs for a workout mix or a summer dance mix.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
