This is a Heath Post special report ... Kentucky's Class 6A high-school football championship is still going on in Bowling Green, but it appears as though Louisville Trinity is going to manage to hold off Pleasure Ridge Park and slip in one more championship before the McCracken County High School Mustangs join the fray.
2013 McCracken County Mustangs?
2012 Louisville Trinity
2011 Louisville Trinity
2010 Louisville Trinity
2009 Louisville Saint Xavier
2008 Louisville Trinity
2007 Louisville Trinity
I just want to point out that I haven't been in the Commonwealth since the beginning of August, I never saw a single KHSAA football game all year, and I knew in October who the state champs would be in 3A, 4A, 5A, and 6A. There's something wrong with that picture.
ReplyDeleteIf the purpose of going from four to six classes was to give more teams the chance of winning titles, I think the events of the last few years show that it's not working.
