Back in February I reviewed The Decembrists' The King is Dead. This EP is a collection of songs also recorded during The King is Dead sessions and pretty much fall in with that album. So if you liked The King is Dead then you'll like this one and if not, well then stay away. I'm always intrigued when bands put out EP's like this and always wonder if it means they want to purge it out of their system as they move toward something completely different on their next project. Guess we'll find out.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
