A Vandy Guy Does Well
Congrats to Brandt Snedeker, of Montgomery Bell Academy and Vanderbilt University, who won the PGA's FedEx Cup, and the $10 million that go with it, by capturing the Tour Championship in Atlanta yesterday. With the win, Snedeker also becomes the 10th-ranked player in the world. This was probably the biggest victory for any Vandy athlete since Bill Wade -- who also went to Montgomery Bell Academy -- quarterbacked the Chicago Bears to the 1963 NFL Championship.
