Today, the winds blew at the Ocean Course on Kiawah Island, and the results were compelling. The average score was around 78, and the leaderboard was shaken up considerably. But Tiger Woods -- who was finally putting well -- went around the course in only 71 strokes, putting himself in a tie for lead. But Woods is not the only star near the top -- Vijay Singh is also tied for the lead, Rory McIlroy is only two strokes back, and a number of other big names are in the top 10. A very satisfactory tournament so far -- except for the fact that Tiger is the only American who is playing well.
