Campbellsville's finest golfer finished in a tie for 19th in The Barclays, the first round of the PGA Tour's playoff for the FedEx Cup. That performance boosted Holmes from 82d place to 55th place in the FedEx Cup standings. Holmes, who has won $1.08 million so far this year -- and $10.6 million in his career -- now moves on to the next round of the playoffs: the Deutsche Bank Championship near Boston. If he is still in the top 70 of the FedEx Cup standings after that tournament, he will be eligible for the third round of the playoffs.
Go, J.B. Holmes!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Clem Haskins is a good golfer.
