Album Review: + by Ed Sheeran

If you are like me and you're coming into this album not knowing anything about Ed Sheeran he comes across as a fairly straightforward singer/songwriter. Problem is he's only 20 and lyrically he seems about 17. He has a nice voice and writes nice melodies, but that doesn't make up for the overly youthful lyrics. Trick is this is his debut and he has a good four years before he hits the standard peak age for most musicians so he has time to mature as a writer and create a much more significant work.

As this one stands it's OK if you're looking for some light pop but that's as far as it goes.

Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 1 out of 5 stars for Just OK.
