This year the SEC will have 14 teams, which marks the end of the 12-team SEC that existed for 20 seasons from 1992 to 2011. That period was a Golden Age for the SEC, which won 10 national titles in those 20 seasons. Here is how each of the 12 SEC members did in conference games over the last 20 years:
SEC EAST
Florida: 124-36 (7 SEC titles -- 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 2000, 2006, 2008) (3 Nat'l titles -- 1996, 2006, 2008)
Tennessee: 106-53-1 (2 SEC titles -- 1997 and 1998) (1 Nat'l title -- 1998)
Georgia: 99-60-1 (2 SEC titles -- 2002 and 2005)
S. Carolina: 66-93-1
Kentucky: 45-115
Vanderbilt: 25-135
SEC WEST
Alabama: 103-56-1 (3 SEC titles -- 1992, 2000, and 2009) (3 Nat'l titles -- 1992, 2009, 2011)
Auburn: 99-61-0 (2 SEC titles -- 2004, 2010) (1 Nat'l title -- 2010)
LSU: 95-64-1 (4 SEC titles -- 2001, 2003, 2007, 2011) (2 Nat'l titles -- 2003, 2007)
Arkansas: 78-82
Ole Miss: 60-100
Mississippi St: 57-102-1
Record in SEC Title Games:
SEC EAST
Florida: 7-3
Tennessee: 2-3
Georgia: 2-2
S. Carolina: 0-1
Kentucky: 0-0
Vanderbilt: 0-0
SEC WEST
Alabama: 3-4
LSU: 4-1
Auburn: 2-2
Arkansas: 0-3
Mississippi St: 0-1
Ole Miss: 0-0
In the 20 years at issue, Tennessee had a record of 38-2 against Kentucky and Vanderbilt. I'm pretty sure that Florida went 40-0 against those two schools.
