Congratulations to the Woodford County Yellow Jackets, who cruised to the 2012 state baseball title with a 4-0 win over Henderson County before a packed crowd at Whitaker Bank Ball Park in Lexington last night. The game drew 5,111 fans; the second-largest crowd in KHSAA baseball history.
That wraps up this year's major KHSAA events. Here were the championship games in the major sports. It was a great year for Louisville. But at my age, I've long since decided that every season is a great season. I'm already looking forward to football in August. Meanwhile, congrats to all the champions:
