College Baseball Update
Congratulations to the Arizona Wildcats, who broke a 1-1 tie by scoring three runs in the top of the 9th, and then survived a bases-loaded bottom of the ninth to defeat South Carolina, 4-1, and capture the College World Series for the first time since 1986. Arizona broke up a potential run of three straight basketball championships for UK when they took the title in 1997, and now they have stopped South Carolina from winning three straight baseball championships. They also prevented an SEC sweep of the football, men's basketball, and baseball titles. The Wildcats were deserved champions, as they never trailed at any point during the CWS.
