College Baseball Update

The College World Series began with a nice day for the Pac-12, as both UCLA and Arizona opened with wins. UCLA cruised over the upstarts from Long Island, while Arizona outlasted Florida State in a superb game:

UCLA 9, Stony Brook 1

Arizona 4, Florida St. 3 (12 innings)

On Sunday UCLA will play Arizona, while Stony Brook and Florida State will meet in an elimination game.

Tomorrow is SEC day in Omaha, with the added attraction of the Kent State Golden Flashes. We have the following match-ups (all teams are playing their first game in the CWS):

Florida v. S. Carolina
