I wanted to like this album. It's a throwback to all of the sweeping electronic music of the 80's but with every listen of this album I found myself losing interest early and often. The hooks are missing and the atmosphere is missing and so you're left with an album that feels like a tribute to a past, but a past that it doesn't understand except in very generic terms. The fact that it is a two disc, 22 track album does nothing but make you even more aware of how disappointing the experience is. Still if you're missing the early 80's and you'd like some background music while you play a game of Extra Innings then give this a shot.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 1 out of 5 stars for Just OK.
I'll have to say that I like this song as much as I liked many of those songs then.
