Album Review: Break of Dawn by Goapele

I would put this album under adult contemporary R&B. It's a quiet and slow album with no real stand out moments, but no throw away moments either.

I'm not all that crazy about Goapele's voice but she's a solid singer and treats these songs as they should be treated with a straightforward and subdued performance.

If you're looking for an album to play in the background while you and your wife chat it up after the kids are in bed, then this will work.

Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
