It's hard to believe that as prolific as Jack White has been for the past 13 years this is his first solo album. I'm one of the few who never really got into the White Stripes and have honestly never found any of Jack White's ventures that interesting. Personally I find White to be boring and this album does nothing to change my opinion. It does show off his guitar playing ability quite well, but I have listened and listened to this album and just don't find much of interest in it all. If you like White then I think you'll like this album.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 1 out of 5 stars for Just OK.
This, meanwhile, reminded me to listen to more of Van Lear's Loretta Lynn.
