Album Review: Love & Rockets Vol. 1: The Transformation by Murs

I've been listening to this album for a while now and I've enjoyed it. It's a fairly classic hip-hop album with no really bad moments and some pretty good moments. If you enjoy hip-hop and you're looking for something new to listen to I would say give this a try.

There are two good things going on here. One is that Ski Beatz does a solid job of production for Murs on this album. He's able to create a musical dynamic that compliments Murs voice and lyrics and he creates a feel that carries through the whole album. Of course that is helped by the fact that Murs actually has something to talk about, even if he can be a bit shallow at times in his approach.

Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
