Haters Gonna Hate

Over at Hilltopper Haven, the Nation's Angriest Fans are just about as happy for the UK / U of L game as you would expect.

Here are my three favorite quotes in that thread, entitled "GO WHOEVER PLAYS UK OR UL!!!!!":

"hilltopperrob" says: "I am pulling for U of Smell in this one. The good thing is that no matter who wins either U of Smell or UK will lose."

"LingToy" says: "I will admit I have a residual affection for UL going back to the Denny Crum and Darrell Griffith, Rodney and Scooter McCray, Jeff Hall, Pervis Ellison etc. days in the late 70's/early 80's, when Crum would bring the Cards to Diddle Arena. I cheered for UL in the 1983 game v. UK while waiting for Swordfish's {Note from GoHeath: I think Swordfish is another Hilltopper Haven regular.} practice wedding to start at State Street Methodist Church. Instead, the man announced 'the basketball game has gone into overtime. The wedding will begin when the game is over.'"
