Congrats to the Racers!

In all of today's excitement, we probably didn't pay enough attention to Murray State's 58-41 victory over Colorado State. The Racers looked somewhat anxious in the first half, and trailed 24-23 at the break. But then the Racers seemed to realize that they were actually much better than Colorado State, and they blew the game open pretty quickly. Racer fans will claim that their team actually didn't play very well -- and there is evidence to back that claim. Murray made only 5-17 three-pointers (29 percent), and only 13-26 free throws (50 percent). If they can get those percentages back to normal in the next round, they could reach the Sweet 16 for the first time in school history. How cool would that be?
