I'm not often that thrown off by a voice, especially from an indie pop band, but Alec Ounsworth's voice grates on me. In the end that's pretty much everything for me. I think the main reason his voice becomes such a focal point for me is that there isn't much there to distract me. There are no good pop hooks here and the music is such a jumbled mess it just doesn't work.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 1 out of 5 stars for Just OK.
