First Region Standings

With the end of the regular season in high school basketball, here are the standings for boys' basketball teams in the First Region of Kentucky:

St. Mary: 18-10
Heath: 18-11
Graves Co: 18-12
Mayfield: 16-10
Pad. Comm. Christian: 15-13 (But 5-8 against 1st Region schools)
Fulton City: 14-12
Paducah Tilghman: 14-13 (But 12-5 against 1st Region schools)
Hickman Co: 13-12
Carlisle Co: 13-13
Lone Oak: 13-16
Murray: 11-16
Ballard Mem: 11-17
Calloway Co: 10-18
Reidland: 8-22
Fulton Co: 3-21

Heath ended the year with wins over Reidland (63-36 at home), Fulton City (53-52 on the road), and Lyon Co. (62-48 at home). Tomorrow night the Bucs will take on Lone Oak in the Second District Tournament at Paducah Tilghman. It should be good game. Heath beat Lone Oak 71-54 at Heath on January 13, but the Purple Flash downed the Pirates 68-61 in the rematch at Lone Oak on February 3.
