I don't get the whole St. Vincent thing. It's bad experimental rock from where I'm coming in and yet she gets a lot of praise from the critics which I just don't get. On top of that her ideas don't even seem that unique to me. she's ripping off from Tori Amos, Kate Bush, Bjork, etc.
Anyhow if you want to hear one of the current darlings of the rock critics then give St. Vincent a listen and maybe you'll find you're more enlightened than I am.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 1 out of 5 stars for Just OK.
I didn't even know there was a St. Vincent thing, so that's how enlightened I am.
