There is something so canned about this album that after a while it is almost unlistenable. I don't know that I can say much more than that.I know I complain a lot about the over produced music that tends to come out of Nashville and this is clearly a big problem with this album. The songs are too crafted, the vocal performances too emotionless. In a band where the strengths are the singers they get lost in the junk that is this awful canned music.
Still this album went to number 1 and produced two number 1 country singles, though this album has no country to it.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 1 out of 5 stars for Just OK.
