Oh, Kentucky
The new head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs is Romeo Crennel, a former Fort Knox High Eagle and then "the epitome of Topper determination," per the 1969 WKU Talisman.
Heightening drama in Northern Kentucky: The Republican son of a Democratic former member of the House of Representatives is reportedly considering a run for Rep. Geoff Davis's seat.
What still isn't being talked about enough here is the fact that the dude was wearing an official's uniform. My father-in-law and I both thought the guy was one of the refs for the game and was throwing in half-court shots at halftime for everyone's enjoyment.
Heath's own Steven Curtis Chapman reportedly sang at the Lady Antebellum wedding Saturday. Hodgenville's Hazel Denham was unavailable to do the Lady's hair, however.
Impellizzeri's Pizza would be enough to earn Louisville my vote.
Joe B went to high school in Cynthiana, and he once said that a lot of his memories of the dear, old golden-rule days revolved around "picking hickory nuts."
