With Missouri losing yesterday, there are now three undefeated D-1 teams, and one of them is in Calloway County. Murray has also matched its all-time best start; the 1935-36 Racers also started 16-0. Next week, the Racers will try to surpass the 1935-36 squad as they host Jacksonville State and the always-dangerous Tennessee Tech.

Austin Peay 75 - 87 Murray St.
This was a huge, huge win for the Racers, who win what was -- on paper at least -- their toughest remaining road game. Primary credit for the victory must go to guard Isaiah Canaan, who had an unbelievable line: 10-15 from the field, 7-8 from three-point range, 8-8 from the line -- 35 points (and five assists). This was no fluke; Canaan shoots 47.8 percent from three-point range and shoots 81.4 percent from the line.
