When I first put this album on I was intrigued by the sound and was drawn into the opening track. As I listened I became aware of the fact that it was going to take a bit of adjusting to get comfortable with the odd melody structures and odd vocals from Zach Condon. I'm OK with that as long as the payoff in the end is an album I enjoy. Problem is the more I listened to it the less I liked the clash of melodies and especially Condon's vocals. So my hopes were dashed and I was left having listened to an album five our six times liking it less and less. Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 1 out of 5 stars for Just OK.
