Not sure it will really come as any surprise to anyone to learn that Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) is a big fan of blues music. The Eurythmics may have been new wave, but they always had a soulful edge to their music which gave it such a mainstream connection. This album is Stewart letting his blues roots shine in a 13 track collection of new music mostly written by Stewart. It's an OK album, though I feel a bit long at 13 tracks. It just kind of drags along for me. There is something very boring about the album.
Still if you want a traditional rootsy, blues album then this would be a good one to try out.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 1 out of 5 stars for Just OK.
I've always wondered what the Eurythmics' second song might've been in this show.
