The 49ers finally fall out of the top two thanks to their loss in Arizona, and the pollsters are still not persuaded to rank Denver. We'll reconsider that decision if Tebow leads Denver past New England this weekend. By the way, if the poll seems very stable these days, that's because the Steelers and Ravens have won four straight, the Patriots and Saints are on five-game winning streaks, and the Texans have won seven in a row.
Here are the top 10 teams in the NFL:
1. Green Bay Packers: 13-0
2. New England Patriots: 10-3
3. New Orleans Saints: 10-3
4. Baltimore Ravens: 10-3
5. Pittsburgh Steelers: 10-3
6. Houston Texans: 10-3
7. San Francisco 49ers: 10-3
8. New York Jets: 8-5
9. Tennessee Titans: 8-5
10. Detroit Lions: 8-5
This week, the only game featuring top 10 teams is on Monday night, when the Steelers travel to San Francisco to take on the sagging 49ers.
I actually think in the AP the Patriots would have slipped because they have had two straight shaky performances against bad teams.

Buffalo, Miami, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, San Diego, Kansas City, Minnesota and St. Louis all have new head coaches next season.
I don't think they'd drop the Pats. I think New England is like Notre Dame used to be and like Duke is in the basketball poll -- they've had so much success that they're always ranked a little bit higher than other teams in their situation would be.
