Here are the top 10 teams in the NFL. We're keeping San Francisco at number 2 -- despite their loss at Baltimore -- because of their superior overall record. I think that's what the AP would do, and the HP Poll is meant to work like the AP College Football poll.
1. Green Bay Packers: 11-0
2. San Francisco 49ers: 9-2
3. New England Patriots: 8-3
4. New Orleans Saints: 8-3
5. Baltimore Ravens: 8-3
6. Pittsburgh Steelers: 8-3
7. Houston Texans: 8-3
8. Dallas Cowboys: 7-4
9. Chicago Bears: 7-4
10. Atlanta Falcons: 7-4
This week, the Atlanta Falcons host the Houston Texans in the only matchup of top-10 teams, although the 7-4 Bengals could probably crack the top 10 if they knock off the Steelers.
