If you are in the mood for some adult power pop then look no further than the latest from Fountains of Wayne. It's a solid collection of pop tunes that can easily act as background music while you manage your team at WhatIfSports.com. It's not going to inspire a mix tape, or get you down the road driving. As pleasant as it is to listen to as a pop album it lacks any real grabs that you normally get from power pop.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
I enjoyed learning how Fountains of Wayne got its name.
