If you like a guy who is singing one minute about a woman who loves to drink beer, and the next minute about the love a father feels for his daughter, then you'll like this album from Kevin Fowler. He incorporates a bit of a honky tonk sound to this otherwise standard fair country pop. Personally I don't care for the simplistic over the top stuff that Fowler is going for here, but I know a lot of people who do like it and so I can get the appeal. The album does sound a bit more genuine than much of the Nashville stuff because of the honky tonk component.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 1 out of 5 stars for Just OK.
