The Twitter desk is on Christmas-parade vigil: Leitchfield, 5 p.m. Dec. 3; Danville, 7 p.m. Eastern Dec. 3; Edmonton, 1 p.m. Dec. 10, and Cave City, 5 p.m. Dec. 10. Please note that, per the Heart of Danville Christmas Parade Rules and Regulations, "(i)tems such as candy, prizes, coupons, etc… are permitted but MUST NOT BE THROWN. Walkers may hand candy and prizes to spectators. If any entry is seen throwing items during the parade, the organization it represents will be suspended from future parades for three years." In Cave City, however, the "Christmas Parade committee does allow candy to be gently tossed from the entered units and encourages everyone to exhibit caution in doing so." The Twitter desk will advise as additional Christmas-parade developments warrant.
