Both the Pats and the Steelers lost at home last week, which scrambles things somewhat.
Here are the top 10 teams in the NFL. Still no love for the 6-3 Texans:
1. Green Bay Packers: 8-0
2. San Francisco 49ers: 7-1
3. Baltimore Ravens: 6-2
4. Detroit Lions: 6-2
5. Cincinnati Bengals: 6-2
6. New York Giants: 6-2
7. New Orleans Saints: 6-3
8. Pittsburgh Steelers: 6-3
9. New England Patriots: 5-3
10. New York Jets: 5-3
No byes this week, which makes me happy. Plus we have three games featuring two top-10 teams. The Number 2 49ers have a tough game at home against the Number 6 Giants. The Number 5 Bengals will host the Number 8 Steelers. And the Number 9 Patriots travel to New York to take on the Number 10 Jets. This is the third consecutive week that both the Patriots and the Steelers have had games against top 10 opponents.
