District record first, followed by overall record. Rankings in the latest AP poll are noted in parentheses before the team name. The top four teams in each district advance to the playoffs:
Class 1A, District 1:
(1) Mayfield: 3-0, 10-0
Russellville: 2-1, 5-5
Fulton Co.: 1-2, 2-8
Fulton City: 0-3, 1-9
Mayfield's season will probably come down to a battle with Beechwood (number 2 in the state), as it usually does.
Class 2A, District 1:
(4) Murray: 4-0, 9-1
Caldwell Co.: 3-1, 5-5
Crittenden Co.: 2-2, 3-7
Reidland: 1-3, 3-7
Ballard Mem.: 0-4, 3-7
Murray will get knocked out on November 18 by state number 1 Owensboro Catholic.
Class 3A, District 1:
(5) Paducah Tilghman: 4-0, 8-2
(8) Fort Campbell: 3-1, 6-4
Trigg Co.: 2-2, 7-3
Heath: 1-3, 3-7
Webster Co.: 0-4, 1-9
Tilghman will likely face another showdown with Louisville Central, currently ranked number 2 in the State.
Class 4A, District 1:
(10) Lone Oak: 4-0, 8-2
(8) Madisonville-North Hopkins: 3-1, 8-2
Owensboro: 2-2, 4-6
Calloway Co.: 1-3, 3-7
Hopkins Co. Cent.: 0-4, 1-9
I have no idea why Madisonville is ranked above Lone Oak. But none of this matters, as the 4A tournament is a walkover for Fort Thomas Highlands.
Class 5A, District 1:
(6) Christian Co.: 4-0, 9-1
Ohio Co.: 3-1, 9-1
Graves Co.: 2-2, 4-6
Owensboro Apollo: 1-3, 2-8
Hopkinsville: 0-4, 0-10
County will be eliminated by Warren Central on November 11.
Class 6A, District 1:
(9) Henderson Co.: 3-0, 7-3
Marshall Co.: 2-1, 6-4
Daviess Co.: 1-2, 3-7
Muhlenberg Co.: 0-3, 0-10
Trinity and St. X will decide the 6A title on November 18.
