Best of the 90's: Rust in Peace by Megadeth

The first seven tracks on this album are almost a perfect representation of the speed metal scene coming to a peak in the early 90's.  Musically the songs are incredibly tight and very well constructed.  Musically these songs stand on their own with the vocals merely filling in the gaps and adding a layer of structure that would be missing without them. 

I really like these opening seven tracks and would say if you want to get a metal fix, but like me you're not a big metal head, then give this a listen.

Currently this album sits at number 72 on the Best of the 90's list.

Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
