If the garage rock revival has put you in the mood for some real rock and roll, then look no further. Heavily influenced by the likes of Led Zeppelin, Rival Sons has rolled out a real rocker. With all the music that's out there right now it's fun every so often to put on an album that is a hard rocker. It feels fresh and different even though it is grounded in bands like Led Zeppelin, The Black Crows, etc.
If you want to hear some rock then give this a listen and you'll get a smile out of it. They certainly aren't cutting any new ground or reinventing the genre, but it's a fun listen.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
