Album Review: If Not Now, When? by Incubus

Incubus has come back after five years away from the studio and produced a completely different sound. They have gone from being heavy pop rockers, to a pure adult alternative band. It's a dramatic shift, but the band pulls it off.

Earlier they were a bland heavy pop band, now they are a bland alternative adult band. In some ways it seems perfect as they now probably fit perfectly into the lives of their old fans, and so I say good for them. As for me there are much better bands in this genre and so I take a pass.

If you want some mellow adult alternative music to play in the background while you have coffee with your adult friends, then give this a try.

Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 1 out of 5 stars for Just OK.

  1. this was a very entertaining review.

i'm making a big shift in my coffee-preparation habits--using coarsely-ground coffee in a tea strainer with boiled water. i'm very excited.
