Album Review: Hold On 'Til the Night by Greyson Chance

It's pretty much what you would expect a pop album from a 13 year old to sound like. Chance has a good pop voice and at 13 a good pop sensibility with his voice. He also gets some writing credit for over half the tracks and full credit for the opener, so he obviously has more than a voice to contribute. Now he's no Janis Ian, but if he's involved in writing that bodes better for his future.

Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 1 out of 5 stars for Just OK.

Ian was 16 when she made this appearance on the Smothers Brothers and this song was off the album she put out at 15.

  1. Not to contradict anything you're saying here, but Janis Ian at 15 was 15 percent older than Greyson Chance is at 13. I like his song.
