We're still working our way through all of the blowouts that constitute most of district play these days. When there were only four classes, you were more likely to have more than one good team per district. Some districts even had three or four competitive teams. Now the districts are so imbalanced that most of the district games are blowouts. There were nine games last week in western Kentucky where a team won by 30 points or more.
Only four things of interest happened last week: (1) Bowling Green won the first of what will probably be a two-game series against Warren Central; (2) Christan County played yet another close game; (3) Tilghman won a game in Clarksville, Tennessee; and (4) Fulton County got a safety against Mayfield.
