Last Week in Western Kentucky

The big story last week was, of course, Heath's blowout win at Webster County. GO PIRATES! Outside of that, and the Ohio County nailbiter, the rest of the schedule consisted of teams playing out the string in district play.

Fulton City 0 - 40 Gleason (Tenn.)
Fulton Co. 6 - 14 New Madrid Co. Cent. (Mo.)
Madisonville-North Hopkins 61 - 0 Hopkins Co. Cent.
Murray 35 - 0 Crittenden Co.
Ohio Co. 35 - 34 Graves Co.
Owensboro 60 - 14 Calloway Co.
Owensboro Apollo 16 - 53 Christian Co.
Paducah Tilghman 57 - 7 Trigg Co.
Reidland 41 - 13 Ballard Mem.
Webster Co. 25 - 51 Heath

  1. Justin McGill in the Oct. 12 Cadiz Record: "Just over three minutes from halftime, Trigg County had the ball in opposing territory in a one-possession game with Paducah Tilghman. At halftime, the Blue Tornado led 29-7 after touchdowns on an interception return and punt return, and the Wildcats never scored again in a 57-7 Class 3A 1st District loss."
