This is a quiet and subdued electropop album. In some ways it works. The hooks are their, the melodies are there, but the problem is it feels incomplete. It doesn't just sound like it was recorded in a home studio, it sounds like it's a rough draft. His vocals are too buried at times. The instrumentation isn't quite as lush and full as it needs to be and so the album falls way short of where it could have landed.
Still if you want a laid back electropop album to throw on while you read a book, make dinner, or take a walk then this should do the trick.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
