Clemson Keeps the UCFC

Are you keeping track of the Unofficial College Football Championship? You really should. You may recall that at the beginning of the season, Auburn held the UCFC. For the last four week, the UCFC battles have been extremely entertaining:

09/03/11: Auburn 42 - 38 Utah State
09/10/11: Auburn 41 - 34 Mississippi State
09/17/11: Clemson 38 - 24 Auburn
09/24/11: Clemson 35 - 30 Florida State

The last time there were four consecutive UCFC games in which the losing team scored at least 24 points was 1995. And the season is just getting started.

Next up, Clemson will try to become the first team this year to win a UCFC game on the road as the Tigers travel to the Old Dominion to take on the Virginia Tech Hokies.

    The UCFC should have its own TV network, and it should get to always carry that weekend's UCFC clash live.

    Clemson appears to be serious about holding the belt. Good win.
