This album opens with two solid songs then trips up a bit with "Bravo" a cliched modern female R&B track, which takes the wind out of the album. The duo with Jaheim which follows is not very good and so all that energy that was there at the start is completely gone four tracks in. All in all this is a solid album for Ledisi who is a solid singer. The best stuff here is when the producers back off and let Ledisi sing rather than trying to pop her sound. Sad thing is there is way to little of Ledisi and way too much of the producers' hands here.
Still it's not a bad album and would be great to throw on while making dinner for a date.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
