For me this has been a disappointing year for hip-hop. There hasn't been any album that has really caught my attention. King Kong isn't a bad album, but there isn't much here either. You can definitely imagine some of these songs taking root in dance clubs, but they don't offer anything memorable. If you just want a straight pop rap album with an Atlanta sound then give this a spin, otherwise you aren't missing out by not listening.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 1 out of 5 stars for Just OK.
Hmmm, interesting ... a song from the perspective of someone who is visiting a nightclub.
