I like concept albums and usually cut them a bit of slack, but in this case it's because it is a concept album that I'm a bit annoyed. I know these guys are a hardcore punk band, but it's just too hard to follow any thought process through this album unless you are really willing to devote your entire mind to the listening experience. Sad to say I have been unable to achieve this task long enough to find myself invested in the music or the storyline. Perhaps it's because the music and the concept just aren't strong enough to keep me drawn in, perhaps because I'm just lazy. I'm not sure but I've tried and tried to listen to this album and just can't find myself interested enough to finalize the deal.
