The only good news is that Bradley is young (25 years old), he is an American (he played for St. John's), and he has actually had a good year (this was his second win of the year and he is now 4th in the FedEx Cup standings. After hearing so much about young Americans who are never going to win a major -- (cough) Bubba Watson (cough) Dustin Johnson -- it was great to see a 20-something from Massachusetts come through. We will now be rooting for Keegan Bradley to win the FedEx Cup. And we will hope that the PGA stays away from the AAC for a long, long time:
1. K. Bradley: -8 (71+64+69+68=272) (-1 in three-hole playoff)
2. J. Dufner: -8 (70+65+68+69=272) (Even in three-hole playoff)
3. A. Hansen (DEN): -7 (68+69+70+66=273)
T4. R. Karlsson (SWE): -5 (70+71+67+67=275)
T4. D. Toms: -5 (72+71+65+67=275)
T4. S. Verplank: -5 (67+69+69+70=275)
7. A. Scott (AUS): -4 (69+69+70+68=276)
T8. L. Westwood (ENG): -3 (71+68+70+68=277)
T8. L. Donald (ENG): -3 (70+71+68+68=277)
T10. K. Na: -2 (72+69+70+67=278)
T10. D.A. Points: -2 (69+67+71+71=278)
He's from Woodstock, Vt.! I once ate a four-egg omelet in Woodstock, Vt., along about when Keegan Bradley would've been 10 (in 1996).
