But she remains undaunted. Yesterday Emma Talley fired a 64 at Matthew's old stomping-ground, Paxton Park, to win the Paducah Tilghman Invitational Tournament by six shots over Anna Hack of Lone Oak. Hack, a freshman, told the Paducah Sun that Emma is her hero.

Emma Talley Update
Danielle Kang, who defeated Emma Talley in the Round-of-32 at the U.S. Women's Amateur, ended up winning the whole tournament, becoming the first woman to defend her title at that tournament since the mid-1990s. So Emma Talley went to the round of 32 at the U.S Junior Girls before losing to the eventual runner-up, and she went to the round of 32 at the U.S. Women's Amateur before losing to the eventual champion. As I said, she hasn't been fortunate in her draws.
