Four more teams qualified for the College World Series yesterday: Florida, Texas, California, and South Carolina. The final two slots will be decided today. The biggest story of the day was the UVA, the overall number-one seed, lost a game, which foced them into a one-game showdown today:

ReplyDeleteI don't care if that guy was UC-Irvine's best pitcher, he should have been replaced after he walked the next-to-last batter on four pitches.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I completely agree with you. The ESPN color commentator, on the other hand, said he agreed with the coach's decision based on the "stick-with-the-guy-who-got-you-here" argument.
