Brandon Knight is staying in the NBA. We're still waiting to hear from Liggins. But this is very good news for Kentucky fans.
There are rumors that Liggins is not coming back, which strikes me as ludicrous, because he is not, in my opinion, an NBA-caliber player. But I say this: I would rather not have Liggins at all than have him at UK when he wants to be somewhere else. His game is all about attitude, and if he doesn't want to be here, we don't want him. Whatever happens, I wish him all the best.
ReplyDeleteI'm really crossing my fingers that Liggins that he does OK in the draft and ends up with a team that can use him for a number of seasons. I don't believe I've ever seen anyone improve so much in his college career.
ReplyDeleteAnd while I was certainly rooting for him to stay, I will admit that I'm getting pretty excited about the projected lineup. This got a lot of attention last night in the Twitter feed (as did what I found to be an incredibly sweet exchange between two future Wildcats about one's plans to attend the other's high-school graduation).
