If in 1986 you had told me that these guys would still be around 25 years later, let alone that they were viewed as one of the elder statesmen of rap I would have never believed it, but that's where we are today. It's been four years since their last release, but they are back now and still producing solid hip-hop. This album has a dirty, dance sound and fits in well with the Beastie Boys recent retro trend. This album very much feels like a throwback, while still feeling modern.
If you want some solid hip-hop or you're a big Beastie Boys fan you won't be disappointed.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
